T.J. Poelking
Meet
Dr. T.J. Poelking
Born and raised in Kettering, Ohio Dr. Poelking attended
the University of Louisville from 1987-1991 where he
graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
As a scholarship athlete, Dr. Poelking learned first
hand the affects of sports on the body. Having a passion
for the medical field and to help others, Dr. Poelking
learned the importance of spinal health when suffering
an injury during his third season as a linebacker for
the Cardinals.
It was at that time when he understood how important it
was to treat the “cause” of the problem, not just its
effect. As a pre-med major, Dr. Poelking changed
directions to chiropractic.
During the next four years, Dr. Poelking spent his time
in Davenport, Iowa attending Palmer College of
Chiropractic earning his doctorate. It was there where
he focused his attention on understanding the human
frame, and it’s association with the nervous system.
In February of 1995, Dr. Poelking received his license
to practice in the state of Ohio and has been in private
practice since that time. Dr. Poelking is board
certified by the National Board of Chiropractic
Examiners and a member of both state and local
chiropractic associations.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Poelking enjoys
treating patients with an emphasis on correcting the
cause of their problem, not just the symptom. He has
extensive knowledge regarding injuries sustained as a
result of auto collisions and is a certified expert in
auto crash reconstruction.
With a love of teaching, Dr. Poelking lectures several
times per year on specific subjects ranging from:
Ergonomics in the workplace, Get Fit While You Sit,
Spinal Hygiene, and Ligamentous Injuries as a result of
Auto Collisions. |
