Kettering Chiropractic Therapy Relieves Chronic Pain After Auto Injury

More than 2 million people are injured each year in car accidents in the U.S. While most people are able to heal from their injuries relatively quickly, too many people are left to deal with chronic pain and disability. We see several of these people here in our Kettering office. Thankfully, Dr. Poelking is here to help you get relief from your auto injury.

Research Supports Chiropractic Care Helps Prevent Chronic Pain After an Car Accident

The science confirms what we see in our office: A British study was carried out on 28 people diagnosed with chronic whiplash pain. Each participant received chiropractic adjustments and 93 percent of them experienced pain relief following their adjustments, even though 43% of whiplash sufferers overall usually never find relief. This confirms that chiropractic adjustments is a great way to avoid long-term discomfort after an auto injury.

It's important to see that research has also found that putting off care after a car crash can negatively affect healing time, so getting in to see Dr. Poelking immediately is key to having a faster recovery.
